Over ten years they’ve kept the same exact song as the first day, composed by my favorite composer James Newton Howard. All of a sudden they decide to change it? And it’s not even a good song. The other one had a real sense of urgency…you felt like you needed to see what’s next or that the people on screen had important things to do. This one…nothing. Or, maybe I was just too busy complaining about the new song to really listen to it. It’s completely possible.

 Anyway…the season premiere was great. I swear, if anything happens to Abby or her baby, I’m boycotting. I’ve always said Maura Tierney was my second-favorite nurse (my Mom’s a nurse) and now she’s my second-favorite doctor (no one beats Clooney).

Last night, it was:

  • car ejector seat from James Bond and Austin Powers
  • Shooting through the ground to escape bad guys from Underworld
  • Jumping off a building and being saved by awnings from Temple of Doom
  • Jumping a car off a dirt ramp 175 feet, from Dukes of Hazzard
  • Shooting locks with guns, from Big Trouble in Little China

It was so fun to watch. Not only was it about movies, which I love, but it was MythBusters. You can’t beat that.  If it happens to re-run again, check it out.  Totally a fun two hours. Even though it inturrupted my Lego playing time.

While IGN is a trusted source amongst many things, I’m yet to find any other information that supports this claim. We’ll just have to wait and see.  I guess I should watch seasons one through five now, and catch up, huh?
